Remember Me is a music video that I made during the lockdown, it narrates the story of a woman in her 70's reminiscing the loss of her granddaughter. The entire film is more or less a eulogy and reflection on her memories she has with her. We embark on this journey along with her as she goes through the stages of grief. Every element and colours used in this film are designed in a manner to represent these stages.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Curated color palettes for the film:
The shoot already had limited resources due to the lockdown, I had to make use of the sources that were available to me at that time.
The location that I decided to use was my grandmother's place where I was currently staying at and my aunt's place which had a big garden space.
Since this video was shot during the lockdown, I did not have access to most of the facilities that would be available otherwise. I could not hold auditions to have professional actors, and I could not hire professional lights. This was somewhat of a blessing in disguise for me because I got to innovate and make use of the limited resources that I had at hand.
